“AI Witness is monitoring for signs of escalation.”
Monitoring stops the moment you end it.
How it works
Three steps.
- 01
Start “Listening mode”
Open AI Witness and start Listening mode for the situation you’re in. One tap.
- 02
AI listens for escalation
Not for keywords. For the shape of an interaction turning — pressure, hostility, a voice that changes.
- 03
If something seems wrong
AI Witness can initiate a safety workflow and preserve the surrounding context, so the moment is not lost.
The problem
A panic button assumes you can reach it.
Every personal safety product built so far asks the same thing of you: notice the danger, get to your phone, unlock it, and press something — while it is happening.
- Your phone is rarely in your hand at the moment it matters.
- Visibly asking for help can escalate the situation you are in.
- By the time it is unambiguous, the window to act has usually closed.
AI Witness is built for that gap — the stretch of time between when something starts going wrong and when you are able to do something about it.

Privacy and control
Your phone should not be listening to your life. Only to the session you started.
Only after you start it
Monitoring begins when you deliberately start a session and stops when you end it. AI Witness is not designed to run in the background of your everyday life.
A short window, not an archive
The intended architecture keeps a limited rolling window of recent audio so escalation can be detected in context. Ordinary conversation moves through that window and is discarded — it is not kept as a permanent record of everything you say.
Context preserved only when it matters
If the system does flag something, a limited amount of surrounding context can be preserved so the moment is not lost. That is the exception, and it is tied to an event.
Yours to delete
You will be able to see what a session produced and delete it. We are building for the smallest amount of retained data that still makes the product work.
AI Witness does not contact emergency services on your behalf, and it cannot guarantee your safety or detect every emergency. It is one layer alongside your own judgment and the people you trust. Final privacy and retention terms will be published before launch.

Questions
What people ask first.
Is AI Witness available today?
Not yet. AI Witness is in active development. Joining now reserves your place in early access and locks in your Founding Member offer. We will email you when builds are ready to test.
Does it call the police for me?
No. AI Witness does not contact emergency services on your behalf. It is designed to initiate a safety workflow — such as alerting the contacts you have chosen and preserving relevant context — so a person you trust can decide what happens next.
Is my phone always listening?
No. Nothing is monitored until you deliberately start a session, and monitoring stops when you end it. AI Witness is not designed to run in the background of your everyday life.
What happens to the audio?
The intended architecture keeps a short, rolling window of recent audio for detection rather than permanently storing everything you say. If nothing happens, that context is discarded as the session runs. If something does, a limited amount of surrounding context can be preserved so it is not lost.
Can it be wrong?
Yes. No detection system is perfect, and AI Witness cannot guarantee your safety or catch every emergency. Treat it as one layer alongside your own judgment and the people you trust — not a replacement for them.
What does Founding Member cost?
Nothing. There is no payment and no card. The first 100 people to sign up become Founding Members for free. We will share what Founding Membership includes before launch.
